Canvas Event Venue Modern Toronto Wedding | Cathee & Derek

August 14, 2017

Food Dudes’ opening of a Canvas Event Venue is such a fresh new space for weddings in Toronto. It’s a modern  event space, offering an alternative blank canvas for couples to work with. And may I add, working with Canvas was such a pleasure! They are organized, efficient and flexible making sure our couple is happy! And not to mention, the food is of course amazing!

Cathee and Derek  are my kick ass couple! You know those feeling you get when you meet someone, that’s how I feel about them! They were chill, they were fun, and they are pretty cool. Cathee loves Ikea, and so her d├ęcor were all from Ikea, from centerpieces to a backdrop using Ikea’s plant stand and substituting with lots of candles. I thought it was super romantic, and create the perfect ambiance to a blank canvas.

They also wanted to focus on something Toronto related for their wedding table numbers. They went around each subway station and took pictures of the signs and turned them into tile table numbers.

The day despite some rain, was perfect!

Also check out her beautiful custom dress!! I’m still obsessed with it!!!

This Toronto wedding is shot by talented Jennifer of Jennifer Van Son Photography.

Lastly as cool as she is, there is no other way of saying Just Married than a leather jacket!! If you haven’t read the story about this cool leather jacket, check it out the full story here on Huffington Post!

Airship37 Elegant Rustic Toronto Wedding | Jennifer & Andy

May 26, 2017

I kicked off the wedding season end of April at the Airship 37. I always love working at Airship 37. Airship37 is a unique wedding venue in Toronto – blank canvas to work with. Located right next to Distillery District.

Jennifer came to me to coordinate the month leading up to her wedding. Her vision was a clean, and simple with organic florals and foliage to make decor statements.

Botany Floral Studio created a vine backdrop making use of the white walls at the venue. They also created this stunning hanging floral as their ceremony arch as a statement piece. It was later reused to hang and decorate above the bar when the room flips to reception.

Some of these snap shots above are from my iPhone, but I have also finally gotten pictures from Two Knots Photography!
