Hazelton Manor Wedding| Toronto | Mary Anne & Martin
September 24, 2016
The daySo excited to start getting images from photographers from all the weddings this summer.
These 2 were so wonderful to work with! Mary Anne and Martin wanted a wedding in a slightly more traditional venue as they had a larger guest count, but wanted to still incorporate an easy going, natural, free flowing garden and a little rustic feel to it. We worked on using their colours purple to incorporate to the wedding. Hazelton Manor was the perfect setting for them. It gave them the space, but also the elegance they were looking for.
When creating their wedding invitations, we used the chalkboard background to put in a touch of rustic but yet elegant to the stationary. Their reception florals were a mix of tall and short centerpiece. Florals were accented with some twigs, and lots of foliage to help with the garden feel to it.
The couple began with their beautiful ceremony at St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish. Then headed over to the Kortright Centre for Conservation for pictures. It was then followed by their reception at Hazelton Manor in Vaughan. The reception was intimate and emotional. And not to forget, amazing performances by the bride’s cousins – man they can sing!!
Mary Anne and Martin are both nurses, so they have shift work. But aside from them and their busy schedule, they took the time to create little projects so they can put personal touches to their wedding.
And can I just give a huge shoutout to all the amazing vendors I worked with? Had the most fun night working with them! See below for all participating vendors.

Toronto Downtown Intimate Wedding| George Restaurant | Sarah & Jeff
September 22, 2016
It’s so great when your client is a referral – and in this case, even better. My past bride’s sister. I helped coordinate her sister’s Megan’s wedding few years back. Non traditional, small and intimate wedding, full of beautiful moments! So naturally, when Sarah contacted me, I was thrilled! I love intimate weddings, something so special about it.
Sarah and Jeff was super easy going, filled with lots of laughter. Their wedding was held at George Restaurant downtown Toronto this past summer. There was a cute little courtyard where the ceremony was held, and followed by a lunch wedding. The girls got ready at The Ivy at Verity which is pretty much attached to the restaurant upstairs. There are so much character to this place, beautiful spots for pictures.
All in all, another perfect day!
